Woo request
Through a Woo request, you ask NVAO to disclose government information that has been documented in documents. For questions regarding government information, please contact NVAO's Woo contact person.
Requirements for a Woo request
Anyone can submit a Woo request to The Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO). The Dutch Open Government Act (Wet open overheid or Woo) governs the handling and evaluation framework of these requests.
A Woo request has no formal requirements. However, your request must meet the following conditions:
- in the Woo request, you specify as precisely as possible what you are requesting information about;
- the request concerns information documented in records;
- the request pertains to information within the possession of NVAO;
- the information relates to the policies of a public authority or its preparation and implementation.
NVAO may request clarification if it is unclear whether your Woo request meets the requirements. In that case, the processing of the request will be suspended until the clarification is received.
Woo contact person
You can contact NVAO's Woo contact person if you have questions about public documents. You can also ask questions about the handling of your Woo request, the functioning of the Woo or other Woo questions.
The Woo contact person will assist you in finding the information you are looking for. Sometimes, you will receive the information right away, and sometimes you may be referred to someone else. If the information you seek is not public, you can submit a Woo request. The contact person can also assist you with that.
