Travelling by air
By train from the airport
The quickest and easiest way to travel from and to the Schiphol airport is by train. From Schiphol Airport there are several direct trains to the stations of The Hague: The Hague Central Station (Den Haag CS) and The Hague Hollands Spoor (Den Haag HS). By train it takes approximately 40 minutes.
The Schiphol railway station
Schiphol railway station is situated directly below the airport. You can pick up a free baggage trolley from the platform. Via Schiphol Plaza, you can walk straight to the departure or arrival hall.
Train tickets
Tickets are available from the (yellow) vending machines and the ticket offices, which are situated close to the red/white-checked cube at Schiphol Plaza. Monitors show the train departure information. The Information desk can of course also provide the required information.
Information about your train journey
The journey planner of the railway system will provide you with information on the Schiphol - The Hague - Schiphol timetable. It also contains the latest travel information, including details of temporary timetable changes.
Night train
If you are departing/arriving at night or in the early morning, the railway's night network could be the answer. The night trains travel once an hour between Schiphol Airport and The Hague (Den Haag CS) and vice versa.
